Jake Knotts a Crony? Talbert Black, December 15, 2011 Jake Knotts puts the “crony” into “crony capitalism.” This time, Jake Knotts is dreaming of his own Solyndra boondoggle. And, of course, the RINO senator is in bed with Democrats on this scam, too–fellow SC Senator Phil Leventis for one. With big government, big spenders like that as friends, why does he even bother to stay in the GOP? It’s more than a little obvious that Jake Knotts is not a Republican and hasn’t really changed since he was officially a Democrat back in the late 1980s. This is another “offshore windmill” type situation where big corporations are looking for taxpayers to provide their so-called “profits.” If these solar farms were profitable in the free market sense of the word, they wouldn’t be going to state legislators in order to get financing or provide tax exemptions, etc. in order for products to be sold.
