Palmetto Liberty PAC endorses Gaye Holt for the State House.

Today, Talbert Black Jr, founder of Palmetto Liberty PAC, announced the PAC’s endorsement of Gaye Holt for State House District 34.

Holt is challenging incumbent Mike Forrester, a two term representative.

“We need a true reformer to replace the current Representative.” Black declared.

“Forrester voted for the largest budget in state history this year; voted to force the governor to take the Obama stimulus; voted to create a new government agency, the I-95 Corridor Authority, and has a record of supporting crony capitalism,” Black claimed, saying he has the voting record to prove it.

“On our score card this session, Forrester only got a 27 out of a possible 100 and he only got a 29 in the previous session,” Black emphasized.

Palmetto Liberty PAC supports candidates who will fight for limited constitutional government, free market economics, and individual liberty and responsibility.

Regarding Holt, Black quipped, “She’ll fight the status quo because she is not looking for any favors from leadership.”

Palmetto Liberty PAC was formed to hold South Carolina’s elected officials accountable for their votes.  Score cards that expose legislators’ voting records can be found at
