Candidate Qualifications

The candidates supported by Palmetto Liberty PAC must be men and women of exceptional character and integrity, unquestionable conservatism, and a willingness to stand up and fight the status quo.

Every candidate we support must line up with these principles:

Government:

• Support shrinking the size and influence of government
• Limit government to its constitutional bounds
• Support increased transparency and accountability of government
• Support state sovereignty

Money:

• No new taxes
• Support decreased spending and lower taxes
• Support sound money and free market principles
• Oppose government control of the economy through bailouts, incentives, targeted tax breaks or other central planning measures

Life, Liberty, Property:

• Defend the life of the innocent, born or unborn
• Defend the liberty to act freely in all things as long as one doesn’t infringe on another’s life, liberty, or property
• Defend the opportunity to succeed or fail in attempts to gain, keep and alter one’s property as long as one doesn’t infringe on another’s life, liberty, or property
• Defend the natural family and the right of father and mother to govern their family in all matters.
